Zaneta Varnado Johns is an internationally recognized poet and author with three poetry collections—Poetic Forecast, After the Rainbow, and Encore—and the What Matters Journal. A coauthor in the Voices of the 21st Century series, she is also an administrator for the Passion of Poetry and editor of Fine Lines journal. Honored as a Denver Dress for Success 2024 “Your Hour Her Power” awardee, she supports women’s empowerment and is a retired human resources leader. Inspired by Nikki Giovanni and poets worldwide, Zaneta champions the 21st Century Virtual Poetry Collective, fostering a legacy for future poets.
